Jorge Martín is one of several riders coming to the end of their contract in MotoGP. The rider is currently linked to Ducati, but competes in the Pramac Racing satellite team – once again not having a place in the factory team despite a strong season in 2023.
Everything indicates that this should be the last year for the Spaniard in his current team, given his desire to be in a factory team – whether it be Ducati’s or another manufacturer’s, if the doors of Borgo Panigale do not open.
At the moment, Francesco Bagnaia is already confirmed until 2026. One spot remains, currently held by Enea Bastianini – whose contract also ends this year. However, there are many candidates, and another one is Marc Márquez (Gresini).
Asked in a press conference if there is a deadline to start talking to other manufacturers, Martín replied: ‘I think it’s not the time to talk about my future. I have already shown, but I have a lot of time to show this year. I guess my manager is working on this‘.
