In the first two rounds of the year, Pedro Acosta had Marc Márquez as one of the opponents in direct battle – overtaking the six-time MotoGP champion in the main races both in Qatar and Portugal.
Debuting in the premier class, the young Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider shows himself uninhibited and fearless. This week, he talked about those overtakes on the El Hormiguero program:

Acosta also confided about the overtake on Márquez in Losail: ‘Let’s see, I changed teams, I changed chief mechanics, I changed everything and that was the first real race I did, because the Saturday Sprint race is just a warm-up for positioning yourself for Sunday.
