The bad weather continues to cause damage, with the inaugural race of the National Flat Track Championship postponed for two weeks.
Due to the heavy rains in the region in recent days that affected the track, the MotoGalos de Barcelos club, organizer of the event that would kick off the 2024 National Flat Track Championship, this Saturday, April 6th in Chorente, Barcelos, decided to postpone the race for two weeks, as it was not possible to work on the track to make it suitable for the weekend.
The opening of the championship is now scheduled for April 21st, the original date reserved for the Chaves round, which will be held on a date to be announced.
With these changes, the calendar is now established as follows:
2024 National Flat Track Championship
April 21st – Barcelos
May 19th – Santiago do Cacém
June 29th – Lavajo, Messines
July 21st – Póvoa de Varzim
September 8th – Prado
