Pedro Acosta is surprising the entire MotoGP paddock. Even rival constructors of KTM are paying attention and impressed with the Spanish rookie, who stepped onto the podium for the first time in the premier class at the Portuguese GP.
Max Biaggi, ambassador for Aprilia, had nothing but praise for the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider, stating to Sky Sport 24: ‘It’s beautiful that from time to time something new appears, something so overwhelming. Acosta started surprising everyone in his first year in Moto3, where he immediately won the World Championship. In Moto2 it took him one more year, while in the premier class it took two races to step onto the podium, and he is not afraid of more renowned opponents’.
