KTM has four riders on track in MotoGP – Brad Binder and Jack Miller in the official team; and Augusto Fernández and Pedro Acosta, younger, in the satellite Red Bull GasGas Tech3. However, there is a technical parity between all, regardless of results, level of experience, and team status.
Fernández addressed this issue after his teammate Acosta’s podium at the Portuguese GP. Quoted by Motosan.es, #37 explained that KTM is working and supporting equally for the four riders:
– Knowing the level that Pedro is showing, especially in this race, they are not going to take anything away from the bike that the official one doesn’t have. It is completely official, and the truth is that the factory is working for all four, including me who is not showing anything, I am receiving their specific support. So, I have to thank them in these moments when I am having difficulties, and let’s see if I can repay it with results soon.
