Miguel Oliveira was the ninth classified in the Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix. It is a considerable improvement compared to the qualifying and the Portimão Sprint race, but also compared to the Qatar GP that had started the championship.
In images broadcasted by SportTV, the Trackhouse Racing Portuguese was asked if the start of the season is within expectations. In response, he mentioned that yes, despite wanting to do more and facing some difficulties:
– According to how the tests went, yes. I would simply like to be able to demonstrate a little more. But I have had many setbacks with the bike in terms of not getting the setting right. The team is having some difficulties with that. It is not enough to just have an Aprilia bike ahead of us to serve as a reference and that is costing us a bit to understand. The team now has to do a lot of work on their side to give me the tools I need.
