Miguel Oliveira finished the MotoGP Portugal GP in ninth place. It was the first time he managed to finish in the top ten since sixth place in last year’s San Marino GP.
The Trackhouse Racing Portuguese felt after qualifying that a top ten result – like the one he got – would be ‘ideal’. And, although he felt he could have gone further, he was pleased:
– There were two possible outcomes: without crashes it was ninth place, with the crashes it was ninth as well, but without that incident in the first corner I would have finished in sixth place. So, let’s say it’s not entirely a negative result.
