At the beginning of the week, Fermín Aldeguer was announced by Ducati for MotoGP starting in 2025, in a factory contract with two more years of option. However, he will not arrive directly to the official team.
The sports director of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, Mauro Grassilli, confirmed to the official MotoGP website that Aldeguer is expected to start at Pramac: ‘It would be Pramac Racing, we have an option with them for the future. If they exercise this option, they will have Fermín for the next two years‘.
Currently, Pramac has Franco Morbidelli and Jorge Martín – who is also linked to Ducati. In the case of the Spaniard, this will be his last year in the satellite team, as he is determined to represent a factory team – either Ducati’s or another.
