Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) was not lucky on the Losail circuit. The Australian rider started from 11th place, but ended up losing several positions and finished the race in 21st and last place. Two weeks later, he hopes that the Portuguese Grand Prix will have a different outcome.
‘I’m happy to be back in Portugal. I’m excited, it should be a good weekend. […]. I had a good week at home, recovering, realigning to try to come back here and show our full potential,’ he pointed out.
Since the last visit to the Algarve track, Miller emphasized that the bike has undergone many improvements: ‘We have made significant improvements since Portimão last year, so I am looking forward to riding this 2024 KTM here‘.
The Australian also spoke about the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
‘I really like it, it has a lot of character. It’s not very conventional, it’s very different, which is good. […]. It’s not easy to overtake at all in MotoGP, but at least on this track we have some opportunities. […]. It’s always difficult to overtake in MotoGP, here or elsewhere. But as we have seen in the past, I believe this track creates quite reasonable races. […]. It’s not intimidating. It’s intimidating when there is a lot of wind […]. But in terms of hills and ups and downs, and so on, not really‘.
