The 2023 MotoGP season was tough for Miguel Oliveira on several levels, including physically with more than one injury suffered – the latest one in November, on a shoulder blade.
At the beginning of March, this year’s season started and the Trackhouse Racing rider has no reasons to worry from a physical point of view. That was the assurance he shared in an interview with Estrella Galicia 0.0: ‘Yes, all recovered. Fortunately, the winter was very long to do so. In Qatar, I could verify that I was already at 100 percent. The shoulder injury conditioned me a lot; I was never physically well enough to ride freely, so it greatly conditioned the progress I was having with the bike‘.
Oliveira also explained: ‘When you get injured and have two or three races very close together, it is very difficult to find that time to recover at home without missing a race. For that reason, you always end up paying the price, so you have to try to be in top physical condition throughout the whole season‘.
