Marc Márquez signed a contract with Gresini only for the 2024 MotoGP season. Given his status, it is believed to be just a transitional year before eventually returning to a factory team – such as Ducati, for example.
However, Carlo Pernat believes that may not happen. The rider’s manager told MOW Mag that it is not ruled out that the Spaniard will stay at Gresini in 2025:
– Marc Márquez may choose to stay where he is. Of course, his ambition is to move up to the official Ducati team, but nowhere is it written that he will only be passing through Gresini. He has won everything there is to win, if he goes to the official Ducati team, great, if not, who is forcing him to do so?
