Repsol Honda has development concessions in MotoGP that allow them various freedoms in private tests – including using their regular riders. And, between the Qatar and Portugal GPs, Luca Marini tested in Jerez.
According to Motorsport.com, the Italian had a day of testing at the Andalusian track last week, where test rider Stefan Bradl was also present. This way, he was able to log more miles on the RC213V, after a very difficult start in Losail.
It should be noted that Marini joins the Japanese manufacturer this year, in what is his first experience in a factory team. He arrived in a challenging context, as Honda is on a long road back to good results.
