The start of the season wasn’t the best for Honda and Joan Mir was part of it, as he couldn’t produce the best races in Qatar, a circuit known for not being the most friendly for the RC213V. Now, heading to Portugal, the former world champion believes he can do better.
Mir is eager to get back to action, now in Europe and on a track he believes is more suitable for the Honda than Losail:
– I am looking forward to getting back on the bike and continuing the work we started in Qatar. There is a lot of work to do, but after a good start on a track that is not the best for us, I am confident we can do more in Portugal. It’s a track I like and I think we have more potential there. Ready to work, ready to make progress, and ready to have another positive weekend with the Honda RC213V.
