A new partnership between the MotoGP Gresini Racing team and the Italian scooter manufacturer Italjet will result in a new special edition version of the Italjet Dragster.
The Gresini edition of the Dragster will stand out for its blue and red decoration, derived from that applied to the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 MotoGP bikes ridden in 2024 by Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez, who finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix, which opened the season last weekend.
Speaking about the new partnership with Gresini, Massimo Tartarini, President and CEO of Italjet, said: “For us, it is an incredible honor to become a Technical Sponsor of Team Gresini, a team that has established itself among the main protagonists of MotoGP – while aiming higher every year.”
“We are connected to Team Gresini through a solid partnership and we also have a strong sense of belonging to our territory, the Motor Valley of Italy. This partnership will also lead to the development of a Dragster replica with the colors of Team Gresini.”
The Dragster, which we define as an Urban Superbike, is a tribute to the sport and its values.”
