Pedro Acosta’s debut in MotoGP was convincing, finishing in ninth place at the Qatar GP – after fighting for much of the race for the top four with the podium not far away.
In a press conference broadcast on Nico Abad’s YouTube channel, the young Spaniard from Red Bull GasGas Tech3 acknowledged that there are aspects to improve after the Losail round:
– Ultimately we have to be happy. The truth is that some things escaped us, with so many new things. I don’t think anyone expected us to be at this level. But, well, we missed out a bit in the end, so we have to polish the details.
Acosta reiterated that he does not have specific goals for 2024: ‘I don’t think we have a set goal. It’s a year of learning […], I think whatever comes will be good. Ultimately, I think it’s better to be surprised than disappointed‘.
