Second round of the season, second triumph for Toni Bou in X-Trial. This Friday night, the Repsol Honda rider was the winner in Chalon-sur-Saône (France).
Since the first round, the Spanish rider led: he only accumulated one penalty point, in addition to being the fastest by far. In the second round, he did not penalize and continued to lead, although he was not the fastest, and thus ended the first two rounds in first with only one point – against the ten of Jaime Busto (GasGas).
In the final, in which Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Team/Montesa) also participated, Busto scored seven penalty points, but it was more than enough to win: Marcelli finished second with 17 points, while Busto finished third with 22 penalty points.
With the victory in this round held in France, Bou leads the championship with the maximum possible score at this moment – 44 points. Marcelli is second with 27 points, as many as Busto.
