French motocross is in mourning. 8-year-old Trevyis Marchandise lost his life in a serious accident during a race at Moulin Brun last Sunday.
According to SPEEDWEEK.com, after falling in a jump area, the boy was hit by another rider and suffered cardiac arrest. He was airlifted to a hospital but ultimately did not survive the injuries.
Trevys’ father, Loïc Marchandise, was also a motocross rider, winning the Brittany championships in the 125cc category in 2009. MotorcycleSports extends heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and friends.
