Fans were called to vote on the best overtake of the Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix and the decision is now known. And the moment in question involved two of the most talked-about riders at the beginning of 2024.
During the main race, rookie Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM) had the audacity to overtake six-time champion Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) – in a move that happened at turn one in Losail.
The rider from Murcia managed to briefly hold onto fourth place. However, he eventually lost performance due to tire wear and ended up in ninth place.
