Brad Binder was the second in both races of the Qatar MotoGP GP – in the Sprint he finished behind Jorge Martín (Pramac Ducati) and in the main race he lost to Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati). In both races he was not far from the winners.
Questioned at a press conference about whether he believes KTM is now closer to Ducati, the South African considers that the Austrian manufacturer is still lacking something, feeling that they are at their maximum while the Ducati riders have something in reserve:
– I think the same as last year – we are quite close. But we haven’t shown what we can do. For me, I feel like I’m always attacking at 100 percent and I feel like they have some percentage in their pocket when they want to use it. I’m waiting for this last piece of help and then we’ll try again.
