After a Qatar GP that was far from what he intended, scoring only one point, Miguel Oliveira has the GP of Portugal in Portimão as the next challenge of the MotoGP season. And, competing at home, the Trackhouse Racing rider wants to do better.
In an interview with SportTV, the Portuguese spoke about the expectations for the home round, and said he hopes to make a difference in some way:
– Portimão is a circuit where I am always very competitive, I ride very fast. Therefore, even if the bike is not perfect, I believe I can make a difference. But I need the bike to help me a little. So we will try to put ourselves in that position, where things can flow in our favor. And also with all the difficulty that the circuit offers to all riders – it’s a physical, difficult, very technical circuit – maybe I can make more of a difference there.
