The Qatar GP kicked off the MotoGP season and didn’t go well. The 15th place in the main race was the best result achieved by the Trackhouse Racing rider in Losail, after narrowly missing out on advancing to the second phase of qualifying – which would have anticipated better chances.
The Portuguese rider told the press after yesterday’s race that it takes time to fully exploit the potential of the Aprilia RS-GP, expressing confidence in his team:
– I believe we still need some more time to get the best out of the bike. That’s what I want to believe; I think the team is capable of doing it, we just need some more time and we need to keep working, keep our heads down and get the best out of ourselves.
