Pedro Acosta was one of the protagonists of the Qatar GP. The rookie was in 4th position in a fierce battle with the eight-time world champion, Marc Márquez, but could not do better than 9th overall.
The Spanish rider spoke in the debrief about the sensations he had during the first race in the premier class in 2024.
– ‘Not bad, to start. Many things happened today. The start was not the best, but then the feeling on the front was great. Incredible feeling I had on the bike and we are very happy. Tire management was not the best, but anyway we have to be happy with these mistakes, they are lessons we take for Portimão. Maybe I didn’t have the pace to be in front with them until the end, but tire management was also not the best and what we take from today was very good’.
