Running once again with the Aruba.it Racing Team, Michele Pirro will return to MotoGP races this weekend at the San Marino GP, in what will be the Italian’s second wildcard participation of the season, after being on track at Mugello. The Ducati test rider talked about his goals for this familiar GP.
‘I am very happy to be racing again with the colors of the Aruba.it Racing Team. This is my second wildcard with the team this year after the Italian GP in May at Mugello. Misano is a home race for both me and Ducati. It’s a track that I really like and I will try to do my best,’ the rider began by saying in statements to the team, before revealing his goals in a race where he wants to perform well in front of his fans and the team’s.
– The goal is to be as close as possible to the front drivers and score some points in the races. I am excited and can’t wait to race in front of all the Italian fans and Ducati enthusiasts.
