Álvaro Bautista is ready to resume action in the Superbike World Championship, which now heads to Magny Cours. The Ducati rider expects some difficulties, mainly due to the layout of the circuit.
The current championship leader began by talking about his vacation period, where he didn’t miss the opportunity to work: ‘This summer I trained a lot, spent time with my family, made good use of the available time. Then we had the opportunity to test in Aragon where, especially on the second day, we tried some solutions that may be useful’.
He then addresses the return to the championship in France: ‘Magny-Cours is not an easy track, with very strong braking zones, long corners, and many changes of direction. We were competitive last year and will build on that, although we have to work and make some changes considering the reduced number of revs’.
