Jaume Masiá continues in good form, and started the San Marino GP in Moto3 at the front of the first practice session. The Spaniard was one of four riders to enter the 1m42s in the opening session in Misano.
A constant presence at the top of the timing table, Masiá (Leopard Racing/Honda) only didn’t lead for about five minutes after taking the lead for the first time. At that time, the first five minutes of the session had not yet been completed.
Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) was Masiá’s main opponent, he was in first place at one point, but ended up in second 0.296s behind. Tatsuki Suzuki (Leopard Racing/Honda) was third, followed by David Alonso (Gaviota GasGas Aspar) and David Muñoz (BOE Motorsports/KTM) in the top five. Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3) had a more discreet entry, with the 13th time 1.058s behind Masiá.
