Luca Marini was the fastest in the morning session of the MotoGP tests in Misano. It was on his last lap of the session that the Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider dethroned Jorge Martín from the lead. Miguel Oliveira currently has the seventh fastest time.
The Italian set a time of 1m31.164s, which was 0.187s faster than the Prima Pramac rival – who ended the morning session stopped with a technical issue on the Ducati. Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) was third, ahead of Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM). Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac/Ducati) was fifth.
Following were the Aprilias from the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team, with Raúl Fernández surpassing his teammate Oliveira on his last lap of the session. The Portuguese rider is 0.515s off the pace, with a total of 28 laps. A little further down, in ninth, was Augusto Fernández (GasGas Tech3/KTM), who with 49 laps has covered the most mileage so far.
