On the weekend of September 7-10, 2023, Moto Guzzi held its annual Open House event at its headquarters in Mandello del Lario, Italy. In addition to inviting Guzzisti from all corners of the world to come together and celebrate their favorite brand, the Eagle brand also couldn’t resist the opportunity to unveil a new motorcycle to the gathered crowd.
It is the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Corsa, the latest addition to the V7 family. Although equipped with the same 853 cc air-cooled twin-cylinder engine as the other V7 models, the aesthetic and ergonomic changes introduced are intended to showcase the sporty character of the V7 in a different way. Since the company brought back the Fast Endurance Trophy at the beginning of 2023, this development makes a lot of sense for Guzzi.
Looking at all the V7 models from the side, the two changes that immediately stand out are the sporty headlight fairing that is only found on the V7 Stone Corsa, as well as the special seat that is also exclusive to that model. The shape of the fairing, with red and silver accents and a small transparent windshield in place, instantly gives the V7 a more sporty look than when the round headlight is left to its own stylistic devices.
The Moto Guzzi is a company that sells its motorcycles in various markets around the world. As such, it announces prices and availability of models at different times and in different markets. Although the V7 Stone Corsa is already listed on the Moto Guzzi American website, no pricing information has been published as of September 11, 2023.
In Europe, the suggested price for the V7 Stone Corsa is €9,999. All European prices include value-added tax (VAT) in their records.
