Dani Pedrosa once again showed why he is widely regarded as one of the greatest MotoGP riders of all time, despite his advanced age and time away from the tracks in recent years – he has had three wildcard appearances since 2018 – he once again showed his class on the track at the San Marino GP, with Brad Binder showering praise on the KTM test rider.
The #26 rider secured two fourth places, in the Sprint race and on Sunday, with Binder showing admiration for the talent and assistance provided by the manufacturer’s test rider: ‘It was fantastic to have Pedrosa this weekend. Honestly, I think we are all struggling a bit, but he was always there and we could use his data and, well, beyond what we learned in testing, he definitely helps us reach another level, but yeah, I didn’t finish on Sunday, but I think it could have been good’.
Binder was also questioned about the carbon fiber chassis, already tested by Pedrosa and even by himself, still without knowing when it may be available full time:
– I don’t know how it works or when it can arrive or whatever, it’s a bit complicated to be honest, I just rode on the thing. I told them I would participate and thought that, as soon as it was ready, I could mount it.
