New season, new team. Miguel Oliveira starts this 2024 season with renewed aspirations and believes that the marriage with Trackhouse Racing will be successful during this championship, which will be the longest ever with 21 great prizes.
‘We have a different jersey, not coffee or spaghetti-proof, we will try to keep it white until the end of the season. No matter how used to being here in the world championship, the start is always more special, we are all very motivated, optimistic, so until it starts, this is always the feeling. After finishing the last test with a slightly more positive note, obviously we want to continue that evolution at the start of the season,’ highlighted the Portuguese driver in statements to Sport TV.
“Falcão” is one of several drivers whose contract ends at the end of 2024. Yet another reason to follow closely the unfolding of the season.
‘This small start to the championship and this transfer season are going to be quite aggressive, it will make a lot of headlines in the Press,’ he pointed out.
In the new team, Oliveira will pair up with Raúl Fernández.
2023 did not go well for the pilot from Almada, finishing in 16th place, missing four out of 20 races due to injuries and accumulating seven retirements.
