After being able to replicate his value as a rider on the track, after a more complicated period where he was unable to do so, Celestino Vietti is standing out in Moto2 and will have a new challenge ahead in 2024, now with the colors of Red Bull KTM Ajo, a team he will represent starting next year.
The Italian, who is currently sixth in the category with 106 points – Pedro Acosta leads with 211 – was naturally very happy to sign a contract with the team, which over the past few years has served as a launching pad for many riders currently (and in the near future) in MotoGP:
– I am super excited. It’s a great opportunity for me, so I am very happy with the news. I have to thank KTM and Aki Ajo for believing in me. I also thank the VR46 Riders Academy Management, because without them none of this would be possible. We still have a long way to go until the end of the season, so I have to finish this season in the best way with my current team. They have helped me achieve many excellent results this year. This will also allow me to have the necessary confidence to start the new season well. Thank you very much and see you in 2024.
