Ducati is experiencing glorious days in MotoGP and at the San Marino GP, they once again placed three riders in the top two races, something that made Gigi Dall’Igna extremely happy. The team manager talked about some differences in the attitude of the riders who finished in the top three: Jorge Martín (1st), Marco Bezzecchi (2nd), and Francesco Bagnaia (3rd).
The General Director of Ducati Corse talked about the riders’ personalities, as quoted by MOW: ‘Martín seems to never take anything seriously. Pecco [Bagnaia] is exactly the opposite: for him, everything is important and must be well defined. I like Bezzecchi’s sympathy for the world. One must be smart enough to distinguish what happens on the track from what happens in the real world. There is always the risk of something going wrong, but I hope that doesn’t happen’.
Dall’Igna expressed his happiness with the atmosphere among the three riders: ‘At the moment, it is very good to work with them. It gives us peace of mind knowing that nobody is an enemy of the other’.
