After the presentation at the last EICMA Show and 10 years after the presentation of the first aluminum cases, GIVI enters the market with the evolution of the top-of-the-range OUTBACK line. The new EVO cases are the definitive version of the style imposed by the brand, as they were developed with the awareness of responding in the best possible way to the needs of motorcyclists looking for adventure dedicated accessories.
Currently, this line features a trio, available in two finishes, with a 58-liter top case and a pair of 37-liter side cases. In the very near future, a side case with contours will be added to make the OUTBACK EVO even more exclusive. Here are all the technical details.
The OUTBACK EVO line represents the new generation of aluminum cases produced in Italy by GIVI. Behind this project is a significant investment. To mention just a few numbers, its production involves no less than 16 dedicated molds, and brings with it 6 patents and super selected components. The result of these efforts is greater versatility of use, a more attractive design, strength and stress resistance for maximum performance on Adventure and maxi-enduro motorcycles. In a more general way, the OUTBACK EVO meets the demands of those planning great motorcycle adventures; GIVI corroborates this statement with tests carried out on all types of terrain and routes (see the videos on the brand’s YouTube channel): a “business card” that stimulates a vision.

This absolute premium line contributes to making 2023, the year that marks the 45th anniversary of GIVI, a very special year. Currently, it is presented to enthusiasts with a trio consisting of a 58-liter top case and a pair of 37-liter side cases, all available with a natural aluminum or black painted finish.
The Security Lock closure is standard. When purchasing a pair of Outback EVO side cases (Pack 2), a third locking cylinder is available that can be mounted on the top case: a single key can be used for the entire kit. The rear and side cases share some of the innovations introduced.

– The new upper and lower corners, with integrated clips, make the attachment to the tubular handles stronger and facilitate transportation even with gloves. The lower corners improve the mechanical sealing over time and are equipped with eyelets.
– A rotating lid system, for complete lid removal.

Water tightness is an important aspect. GIVI guarantees a “water resistance” degree equivalent to heavy rain for its top cases, especially as they are tested with a special machine that simulates rain with a flow rate exceeding 20 liters/minute.
