It is expected that QJ Motor will expand its mid-displacement lineup in 2024 with the arrival of the new QJ Motor SRT 600. The SRT 600 is set to arrive this year, according to homologation documents reported by Cycle World.
The documents show the SRT 600 as a mid-displacement touring motorcycle that will replace the existing SRT 550, which in turn was an improved version of the previous SRT 500.
A 554cc twin-cylinder engine will be at the heart of the SRT 600, so don’t get too excited by the number in the name – it’s not a 600cc supersport machine. Instead, the engine is the same as used in the 550, and even in the new Benelli TRK 552. But despite retaining the engine, the power is increased from the 47 hp of the SRT 550 to 60 hp, which is equal to that found in the more sporty SRK 550 models. The weight of the SRT 600 is reduced compared to the 550 to 220 kg.
Radial mounting calipers supplied by Brembo are also part of the specification, and there are four different variants of the SRT 600 detailed by QJ, with two top-of-the-line versions offering additional luggage capacity and collision protection, and two lower-range versions (and likely lower-priced). Whichever variant is chosen, it is possible to choose between spoked or cast wheels.
The aesthetics have also been changed in relation to the SRT 550, with a new design without the front beak that deviates slightly from the norm of contemporary Adventure Touring. QJ Motor has not officially announced the motorcycle yet, so there is no official confirmation on when it may arrive at dealerships.
