The Austrian brand KSR is one of the largest motorcycle importers in the European market. It has brands you may be familiar with, such as Malaguti, Lambretta, Brixton Motorcycles, and Motron. In total, KSR imports and sells over 60,000 motorcycles every year. That being said, Motron, one of the company’s brands focusing on urban scooters, has just launched its range of updated models.
For the 2023 model year, Motron has released its selection of scooters ideal for people who want to get around the city on two wheels. Motron’s selection is all about economy and functionality, and consists of four scooter models. Their scooters are made up of models that cater to AM, A1, and A2 license categories, making them ideal for both beginner riders and experienced riders looking for simple urban transportation.
Let’s start with the Motron Ventura 125, a standard scooter with high wheels that moves with 16-inch wheels both front and back. Its larger wheels mean that it can travel over rough road surfaces – such as light gravel and cobblestone – with ease. Additionally, the scooter has ample storage space under the seat, large enough to store a full-face helmet. It has a small 125cc engine and is equipped with a simple base, consisting of telescopic forks and dual rear shocks. It also has a combined braking system (CBS) for safer braking. It is sold for only €2,599. Next, the Motron Breezy 50 is a small and sporty scooter that is technically classified as a moped. It has a small single-cylinder 50cc, four-stroke engine with even smaller fuel economy of about 45 km per liter. This means that a full refill of its small five-liter fuel tank can provide a range of up to 200 km – quite impressive considering its small size. The Motron Breezy 50 is sold for only €1,699.The Motron is also aimed at retro riders with the Ideo 125. With a 125cc single-cylinder engine, the Ideo 125 shares style similarities with Vespa, but of course, at a lower price than the luxury Italian brand. The Ideo 125 is sold for only €2,299, and is available in two colors: Rock Gray and Carbon Black.
Completing Motron’s offerings for the year 2023 is the Voltz, the group’s only two-wheeled electric motorcycle. Weighing just 64 kg, the Voltz is easy to ride, although it has enough noise to make you accelerate in the city. It has a 2000 watt motor, installed in the rear wheel, and has a maximum speed of 45 km/h. Similarly, its battery has enough energy to travel 49 km on a single charge. The price? Only €1,999.
