Enea Bastianini remains injured, and will therefore miss the MotoGP Japanese GP. Once again, Michele Pirro will be his substitute, despite the difficulties faced last weekend in India.
The Ducati test rider is hoping for a different and more favorable scenario in Motegi, as stated in a press release:
– I am happy to be able to compete in another GP with the Ducati Lenovo Team. Last week’s GP in India was very challenging; it was a new track and I suffered a lot physically because of the heat. Now we are heading to Japan, a circuit that we know and have more data available, so I hope to make up for it and give more satisfaction to the team.
