Staying at Honda and achieving a revolution. This is the desire that Cal Crutchlow has for Marc Márquez at a time when the future of the former world champion is uncertain, with the British rider arguing that the Spaniard can bring about a revolution in service of the Japanese manufacturer.
After admitting that if Márquez were to ride a Ducati it could make the rest of the competition “obsolete” and unable to beat what he considers the most talented rider in the paddock, Crutchlow believes that #93 will maintain his qualities as a rider, even recalling the time he shared the RC213V with the rider from Cervera:
– That time was incredible and I don’t believe he has lost that talent, I just think the bike is not allowing him to do what he was capable of doing before. If it did, I believe he would still be leading the championship.
Crutchlow depois disse como gostaria de ver o rumo dos acontecimentos: ‘[Se ele ficar na Honda] a história pode ser revolucionária e talvez ele dê a volta às coisas. Penso que essa seria a melhor história, para todos’.
