This Thursday morning was equally marked by a special visit to the paddock of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve when students from the Montes de Alvor Basic School discovered with the help of Miguel Praia the secrets and ‘corners’ of the world championship. Fantastic reception by Toprak Razgatlioglu and Andrea Locatelli, the two official Yamaha riders in the championship, and by the entire Ducati technical team led by the always friendly Serafino Foti. With eyes shining with happiness and amazed by the ‘world’ of technology they discovered with a luxury guide. The competition motorcycles, the boxes, and the entire paddock were toured by the children from the neighboring school of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve who closed the ‘field trip’ with a refreshing snack and a special gift from Razgatlioglu and Locatelli who joined the little ones for a fun family photo.
Discover Benagil and its caves
Guided by the experienced team of Taruga Benagil Tours, the seven riders visited the famous caves and discovered hidden spots of the Algarve only reachable by sea. Without any surprises and on a calm morning at sea, good spirits prevailed aboard the boat and everyone expressed the desire to return to explore some of the caves and sinkholes that make up this unique rock formation on the Algarve coast that amazed the special visitors of this Thursday morning. ‘It was fantastic and a lot of fun…and in the end, we even sped up a bit on the boat which left us even more satisfied.’ Commented Danilo Petrucci already with his feet back on land at the end of the tour and before returning to the circuit.
Tickets for the Algarve round of the championship are already on sale on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve website at www.autodromodoalgarve.com.
