EXCITING PERFORMANCE ![Fonte:triumphportugal.pt](https://eoywu7cjvck.exactdn.com/wp-content/uploads/Scrambler1200XE_MY24_3922_JP-1024×683.jpg) Both models feature the same 1200 cc Bonneville twin-cylinder engine and torque-rich Scrambler tuning with a new 50 mm single throttle body and revised exhaust manifolds, providing improved flow and greater torque distribution across the upper range of rotations, from 5,000 RPM to the redline. The 2024 models have also been finely tuned to provide the perfect balance of power delivery for on-road and off-road riding. Peak power now arrives a little earlier in the rev range, reaching 90 hp at 7,000 RPM, with peak torque of 110 Nm also arriving earlier, at 4,250 RPM. The distinctive high-spec dual exhaust system is completed by brushed stainless steel silencers, providing that deep and characteristic Scrambler tone. PREMIUM SPECIFICATION Both variants share the same tubular steel Scrambler frame, as well as high-spec stainless steel spoked wheels with lightweight and durable aluminum rims. The two models offer significant ergonomic differences, including different handlebar designs, with the XE offering 65 mm more width than the X, ensuring greater control on challenging off-road terrain. The reversible risers allow riders to adjust the handlebar position, and the XE also features a removable spacer for a 10 mm height adjustment. Further expanding ergonomics, the XE also has adjustable foot controls to accommodate a variety of riding styles and footwear. Both motorcycles feature a premium cast aluminum dual-sided swingarm. With 579 mm, the XE has a swingarm 32 mm longer and a longer wheelbase than the X, increasing control and confidence on difficult off-road terrains, while the shorter wheelbase of the X contributes to agile and responsive road handling.
These motorcycles are also equipped with top-of-the-line Metzeler tires. The X benefits from the Karoo Street, focused on road and dual-purpose, while the XE variant receives the Metzeler Tourance, contributing to its unparalleled balance of on-road and off-road capabilities. For even more extreme off-road capabilities, the Triumph-approved Michelin Anakee Wild tire is the tire of choice.
Both models are equipped with high-spec suspension. The X variant features 45mm MarzocchiTM cartridge forks more tailored for road use upfront and twin shock units at the rear. The rear suspension units come with adjustable piggy-back reservoirs for preload, allowing customers to fine-tune their on-road and off-road riding experience.
The XE has a more off-road-focused setup, with optimized 45mm MarzocchiTM forks and premium dual spring MarzocchiTM suspension units that are fully adjustable and have more incremental adjustment for compression and rebound, providing even greater control. This optimized suspension provides a significant wheel travel of 250mm front and rear for increased off-road capability and good ground clearance.
STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT
When it comes to braking, both models feature top-of-the-line equipment to ensure efficiency on both road and off-road. The XE boasts powerful front BremboTM Stylema® Monoblock radial calipers with state-of-the-art floating double 320 mm discs, providing class-leading braking performance. While the front is taken care of, the rear is managed by a 255 mm disc with Nissin caliper, further maximizing braking performance.
The X model features two 310 mm floating front discs, with Nissin dual-piston axial calipers. Meanwhile, the rear is supported by a 255 mm rear disc and a Nissin floating brake caliper, to provide confident braking performance on the road. The position of the front brake lever can also be adjusted according to the driver’s preference on both models. WITH NEW AND IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY FOCUSED ON THE RIDER Both the Scrambler X and XE feature optimized ABS and traction control in curves, adjusting intervention to provide and maintain ideal traction at any lean angle. There are five available riding modes for the Scrambler 1200 X, each with its own dedicated throttle response and specific ABS and traction control settings. Riders can choose from Sport, Road, Rain, Off-Road, and Rider Configurable, while the XE also has Off-Road Pro to allow experienced riders full and uninterrupted control for the most challenging off-road riding.
Greater riding stability is achieved thanks to a high-specification Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) developed in collaboration with Continental. This system allows for optimized cornering ABS and traction control, automatically selecting the correct setting by measuring roll rates, lean angles, yaw, and acceleration to calculate the lean angle. With a focus on improving the overall riding experience, both the X and XE are equipped with an assist clutch.
The Scrambler 1200 XE includes integrated and customizable color TFT instruments. Two minimal and elegant information layout design themes are available, each with three more options to change the level of information displayed. Isso desencadeou o mundo de Scramblers que vemos hoje e toda uma nova base global de fãs, de pilotos urbanos a estrelas de cinema, até mesmo com lugar de estrela no último filme de Bond, Sem Tempo para Morrer.
