The GL1800 Gold Wing and the GL1800 Gold Wing ‘Tour’, Honda’s iconic touring motorcycles, and the CMX500 and CMX1100 Rebels, Honda’s popular custom cruiser motorcycles, receive new colors for the year 2024.
Since its introduction as a 1000 cc naked machine in 1975, the majestic Honda Gold Wing has always represented the best of two-wheeled travel and created a lasting reputation for luxury, quality, style, and comfort.
By 2024, both Gold Wings feature new color options. Available exclusively with Honda’s unique Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), the GL1800 Gold Wing will be available in a new and exclusive Matt Armoured Green Metallic color scheme, featuring brown details on the engine casings. The DCT and airbag-equipped version of the GL1800 Gold Wing ‘Tour’ will feature two new color combinations for 2024: Heavy Gray Metallic with Graphite Black details and brown engine covers, and Pearl Glare White with new Graphite Black details. The popular Beta Silver with Iridium Gray Metallic details remains in 2023. The manual transmission version of the “Tour” will be available exclusively in the stylish Heavy Gray Metallic color scheme.
In 2023, the CMX500 Rebel, Honda’s compact 500 cc twin-cylinder cruiser motorcycle with A2 license, maintains its position as the best-selling model in Europe in the custom category, a position it held in 2021 and 2022. It’s no wonder the model continues to be so popular: affordable, easy to ride, and easy to live with, the Rebel features an attractive standard specification that includes slip/assist clutch, LED lighting, and gear position indicator.
For 2024, the CMX500 Rebel receives three new contemporary paint options, including Seal Silver Metallic and Matt Laurel Green Metallic, joining the Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic from 2023. The CMX500 Rebel ‘S’ version, which includes a range of practical and attractive factory-mounted accessories such as headlight cowl, fork covers, all-black footpegs and diamond-sewn seat, will be available in the new dynamic color Pearl Shining Black.
The CMX1100 Rebel is a true 21st-century bobber, with a dual personality and a simple style that speaks volumes about its minimalism. It is designed for relaxed leisurely rides, but also for an exciting driving experience when tackling a winding road, thanks to the performance and character of a 1,084 cc two-cylinder engine tuned for strong torque in the lower and mid-range.
Ranked second behind its smaller sister in the European sales chart for customized bikes in 2023, the CMX1100 Rebel will receive two new exclusive colors for 2024: Glint Wave Blue Metallic and Iridium Gray Metallic. The CMX1100T, introduced last year featuring an extended aerodynamic half fairing and rigid panniers for added comfort and long-distance adventures, gets a refreshed look with the Gunmetal Black Metallic color scheme, now with bronze wheels.
The GL1800 Gold Wing and Gold Wing ‘Tour’ are expected to start arriving at dealerships across Europe in December, with the CMX500 and CMX1100 Rebels arriving in early 2024.
