Another tough session for Miguel Oliveira at Phillip Island. The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team rider once again struggled to find a good pace with his Aprilia and finished 20th in the MotoGP Australian GP practice. As a result, he will have to go through the first qualifying phase and the prospects are not encouraging.
The start was modest for the Portuguese rider, who could only manage 15th with his first flying lap. Despite improving compared to the first free practice session early on, he was still towards the back of the field. After completing just four flying laps, Oliveira returned to the pits while in 21st place.
By the end of the first quarter of an hour, “Falcão” was back on track. Despite maintaining a relatively consistent pace, Oliveira dropped to the last position. That’s where he was when he returned to the pits once again.
