Yamaha is not making it easy for Toprak Razgatlioglu in his move to BMW in the World Superbike Championship – wanting the contract to be respected until the end. The rider will not be able to test in Jerez this week, and also rejected the possibility of testing on November 22 and 23.
According to the site SPEEDWEEK.com, the 2021 champion would have to be without any logos on his racing suit and could not speak to the press about comparisons between Yamaha and BMW motorcycles – until the contract with the Japanese manufacturer ends at the end of November.
Razgatlioglu did not like the demands and, therefore, is only expected to debut on the BMW from December 4 to 6 in Jerez – when the contract with Yamaha has already expired.
