The 500 cc displacement combined with the Kawasaki name brings back memories of the 60s and 70s. The Mach III excited many motorcyclists and with the new Z500, Kawasaki wants to do the same. With this new model, the Japanese manufacturer enters the A2 market, a very competitive segment.
The Z500 has an aggressive style and features a new water-cooled twin-cylinder engine equipped with a slipper clutch. The trellis frame is the backbone of the Z500, which on paper should ensure easy handling and use, especially for A2 license holders.
However, the Kawasaki Z500 will also appeal to more experienced riders who are drawn to the simplicity of Kawasaki’s new naked bike, with quick curves and generous torque from the twin-cylinder engine.
The 2024 Z500 will also be available as a Special Edition model with exclusive paint and the introduction of a color TFT screen that provides access to essential information through the latest version of the Kawasaki Rideology app.
There will also be an SE version with a smoked fairing, radiator protection, frame protectors, passenger seat cover, tank protector, and other accessories. As for original accessories, Z500 buyers have a wide variety of choices, including a larger windshield (clear or smoked), the high ERGO-FIT seat (+30 mm), tank bag, and the classic colored finish for the rims.
