With Marc Márquez’s departure at the end of 2023, Repsol Honda is looking for a replacement for the upcoming season. Several names have been speculated, with Fabio Di Giannantonio being one of them… a choice that Loris Capirossi sees as a good option.
In an interview with Radio Cusano Campus, the former rider believes that his compatriot currently at Gresini could be the right man for the position in the Japanese team:
– I know they are talking to Di Giannantonio. He is a rider who has matured a lot lately and achieved his first podium at Phillip Island, growing race after race. He could be the name that Honda can clearly work with being young and not under pressure to achieve immediate results, also needing to improve the bike’s performance.
