Miguel Oliveira will not leave the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team in MotoGP. The rider was speculated as a possible replacement for Marc Márquez at Repsol Honda, but was not pleased with the conversations he had with the Japanese.
The Portuguese rider revealed to SportTV that he felt a lack of strategy at Honda, ensuring loyalty to his current team and to Aprilia, with whom he has a valid contract until 2024:
– After some attempts at contact, there was a lack of leadership and strategy [at Honda]. That’s why we decided to stay here. That was my commitment from the beginning and that’s the commitment I will remain faithful to.
