While the successor to Marc Márquez at Repsol Honda is not yet known, it is also not certain that he will have the same team members on his side of the garage – as in some cases, riders can bring technicians with them when they change teams.
Questioned about whether he believes his successor will keep the working group that accompanies him, including Santi Hernández as chief mechanic, the Spaniard replied that he is not aware of Honda’s future strategy:
– Since I decided to leave Honda, of course I have a lot of respect, of course if they ask me something I try to give my honest opinion, I try to work on track. But I don’t know exactly the strategy for next year, I don’t know the strategy for the future.
