Red Bull KTM Factory Racing had a very peculiar race this Sunday in Malaysia. Brad Binder was showing a great pace but crashed, leaving Jack Miller as the only survivor from the team in Sepang. Francesco Guidotti made some comments about the action on track this Sunday.
The KTM Team Manager started by saying that things didn’t go as expected: ‘We were confident of a good race this Sunday after the way the weekend went and after Saturday’s Sprint, but it didn’t happen’.
He then focused on what happened to his two riders, who had different results in the race, as Binder crashed out, while Miller finished in eighth:
– Brad got lost and Jack was doing very well, but it wasn’t what we expected. Both were complaining about the same issues, so we need to focus more on this matter. It was a strange day and we need to figure out how we can improve for Qatar.
