The possibility of granting development concessions to Honda in MotoGP, as well as to Yamaha, is on the table – in order to regain lost ground to European manufacturers.
Joan Mir, representing Honda, argues that the manufacturer should have access to these advantages, stating to Motorsport.com that it would be selfish on the part of the Europeans not to do so:
– When KTM and Aprilia needed concessions and Honda did not, they were given. I think it would be selfish if now that we need them, and also Yamaha although in a different situation, they did not give them.
