Brad Binder is currently in fourth place in the MotoGP standings and admitted that for 2023, he had anticipated a title challenge. Things didn’t go as planned, although he acknowledges that he is in one of the best forms of his career so far.
Regarding his position in the championship and his aspirations to challenge for the title, the KTM rider revealed that desire… which he already had for this year: ‘Well, I had plans to try it this year, but you never know and that’s the thing. I feel like I’m riding well at the moment, I’m in one of the best forms I’ve ever been in and we’ve had some very good races this year and I believe the worst this year was in Sepang [last GP], and I was fast in all sessions except for the races unfortunately’.
The focus now is on finishing the year well: ‘I am excited to see how we end the season. I was second here last year and second in Valencia, tracks where I am usually good, so if we can somehow finish the year strong and start fresh next year, I hope we will be more competitive’.
