Jack Miller after finishing 8th in the Malaysian GP is motivated for the Qatar GP. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider talked about the new state of the Losail circuit and his expectations for this weekend.
– ‘Excited to be back at this circuit, this year at the end of the season instead of the beginning, but happy, they did a good job on the circuit conditions and in the paddock in such a short time. The bike is usually competitive here, we have some work ahead of us, but we want to finish the season strong. I will try to focus on good work in one lap because each lap here is very long. We will use the data we can gather, from Brad and Miguel from last year and from the satellite team, but at the end of the day, here in Qatar, there are many variables from one day to the next’.
Questioned about the differences from last year that he will feel this year, Jack replied: ‘It will all be different, I keep asking why they didn’t make a new circuit. We know what this country is capable of doing when it wants to invest in something. For them to do what they did in such a short time is impressive. We will work on speed, braking, and corners in everything, basically.’
