Miguel Oliveira is out of the MotoGP Qatar GP Sprint race. Bad luck struck the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP man, who, after getting close to the top ten in the first corners, crashed on the opening lap.
Strong start by #88, who climbed from 17th to 11th in just a few corners. However, he was involved in a crash with Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati) at turn six.
It was the end of the line for Oliveira, who, when he had everything to fight for points after the good start, was forced to retire in the early stages of the opening lap.
